I am a creative problem solver who thrives on exceeding expectations with successful, aesthetically pleasing design concepts. Equal parts realist and creative idealist with proven successes in company design works. Using a multi-disciplinary design approach taught in my program combined with cross-cultural understanding, I am able to create timeless, conceptual work to design for a better tomorrow.

Early Education

I’m very fortunate to have been born and raised in Dubai for the first 18 years of my life. I attended the high school Jumeirah College which is a well-balanced high school where students were encouraged to pursue a creative avenue, participate in sports activities, as well as maintain a strong academia in the core subjects (Maths, Sciences, and English).

My grades were consistently all A*s and A’s for 11 GCSE’s as well as my A Levels — I specialised in Maths, Physics and Design Technology.

Aside from maintaining a strong academic record, I also sought out various different school activities which interested me. These were done in my spare time during school hours.

Further Education

To pursue design, I enrolled in a bachelor’s degree and moved to Ottawa to study Industrial Design at Carleton University.

The program teaches you how to apply your very own design process in order to design any product from start to finish. The professors at the B.I.D. program assign increasingly difficult projects which grow in complexity as you progress another year - all while making sure you get to gain new skills, learn new applications, and pick up all sorts of design skills.

In this degree you do projects on graphic design, product design, brand design, 3D modelling, prototyping, CAD Design, packaging design, print design, UX/UI design…and more!

My portfolio was uploaded to Carleton’s website as a “best example”
